DOREEN PATRICIA (McCORMAC) MELLON

Doreen (McCormac) Mellon has lost her 20 year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She passed away, peacefully, at home on November 8th, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Collina, Kings Co, NB, Doreen was the daughter of the late Daniel and Alice (Murphy) McCormac.

She is survived by her daughter Susan, her three sons Mike (Jo-Anne), Tim (Yvette), and Gary (Monique), all of Moncton, nine grandchildren Neil, Laura, Daniel, Natalie, Aaron, Julie, Christine, Carolyne and Graig, two step-grandchildren Michelle and Jason, one great-grandson Cade, one step-great-grandson, Ethan. She is also survived by four sisters Velma, Mary, Rose and Glenna, one brother Don, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Arnold (2002), as well as her sisters Lorena (1958), Marie (1996), Alice (1998) and Ruth (2011).    

There will be no visitation by personal request.

Funeral service will be celebrated from Saint-Michael Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB, on Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 at 11 am.

Interment at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
