It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorice Bastarache, 84, on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB.
Born in Saint-Thomas, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and the late Rose-Anne Maillet (Cormier).
Dorice will be sadly missed by her daughter, Gisele Bastarache of Saint-Thomas; her son, Paul (Linda) Bastarache of Cohasset, MA; her grandson, Dana Glawson (Chantelle Pontbriand); her two sisters: Georgina Maillet of Shediac and Florine Allain (late George) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Aurèle Bastarache; her five brothers: Alcide, Clarence (late Julia), Laurent (late Grace), Normand (Yvonne), and Oscar (Ethel); as well as three sisters: Aline Babineau (late Gerard), Catherine Goguen (late Omer), and Dora “Fedora” Landry (late Normand).
In respect to the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
