In Loving Memory Of
Dorice Breau
1927 ~ 2023

Dieppe, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend has left us. Dorice Breau, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur residence in Dieppe.

Born in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and the late Anna Cormier.

Dorice will be sadly missed by her two sons: Ronald (Pam) Breau of Fredericton and Jean (Della) Breau of Ottawa; her three daughters: Lucie (Yvon) Belliveau of Shediac, Claudette (Danny) LeBlanc and Gisèle (Jean-Claude) Vautour both of Dieppe; her brother, Émile (Idora) Cormier of Dieppe; three sisters: Sr. Zella, Maria LeBlanc both of Moncton, and Claudette Lessard of Sherbrooke.  Her “joie de vivre” was accentuated by her thirteen grandchildren, who knew a grandmother who loved them very much with words of encouragement: Nicholas, Justin, Marc, Daniel, Mélanie, Julie, Lise, Christine, Nicole, Éric, Michel, Janique and Serge; several great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Clara Cormier and Zélia Belliveau; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Eric; two brothers: Ulysses and Emerie; and eight sisters: Azémia, Anise, Lorraine, Edmée, Bernadette, Yolande, Thérèse and Jeannine.

The family would like to thank Lydia Jaillet for her support with our mother, as well as the staff of the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur residence for their exceptional care.

Visitations will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault street, Dieppe) from 9:00am until 11:00am. Funeral service will take place at the Sainte-Thérèse RC Church (457 Acadie Ave, Dieppe) at 2:00pm.
