Dorilla Babineau, 84, of Foyer St-Antoine and formerly of Cove Road, Notre-Dame, NB, passed away on Saturday, December 4th, 2010, at her residence.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ovila and the late Angelina (née: Breau) Leger.
She is survived by two sons: Leon (Laurinda-Ann Garland) of Vancouver, BC and Guy (Léa Maillet) of Notre-Dame as well as one cousin, Laurina Donelle of Grande-Digue.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alderic in 1982.
Visitation will be held from the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Funeral Salon, Notre Dame, NB, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from 9: 30 am until time of service.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame, NB, on Thursday, December 9th, 2010 at 10: 30 am.
Interment in the parish cemetery, Notre-Dame, NB.
Donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
À sa résidence, le samedi 4 décembre 2010, à l’âge de 84 ans, est décédée Dorilla Babineau. Elle demeurait au Foyer St-Antoine autrefois du chemin Cove, Notre-Dame, N.-B.
Née à Grande-Digue, N.-B., elle était fille de feu Ovila et de feu Angelina (née: Breau) Leger.
Elle laisse dans le deuil deux fils: Leon (Laurinda-Ann Garland) de Vancouver, C.-B. et Guy (Léa Maillet) de Notre-Dame ainsi qu’une cousine, Laurina Donelle de Grande-Digue.
Outre ses parents, son époux, Alderic en 1982 l’a précédée dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la salle d’exposition funéraire de l’église Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur le mercredi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le jeudi de 9h 30 jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Notre-Dame, N.-B., le jeudi, 9 décembre, 2010 à 10h 30.
