Dorina Allain, 67, of Bouctouche passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Wednesday April 29, 2015. She was married to Albini Cormier. Born in Bouctouche she was the daughter of the late Zéphir and the late Edith (Richard) Allain.
Dorina worked at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche for 38 years in the Kitchen and on housekeeping.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Albini, her three sisters; Eleonor Gallant (Léo) of Bouctouche Bay, Annette Hébert (Gerard) and Gisèle Allain (Michel) of Bouctouche, several nephews and nieces and several great nephews and nieces. She also leaves to mourn two aunts Norma Savoie and Aline Richard both of Bouctouche.
She was predeceased by one half-brother, Bernard Richard.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Monday May 4th, from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church Bouctouche on Tuesday May 5, 2015 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Dorina’s memory donations may be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Foundation «Oncology department».
