Moncton, NB – Dorina Goguen, 92, passed away peacefully at her residence in Moncton surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 14th, 2022.  

Born in Acadieville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe Daigle, and the late Emilie Daigle born Richard.

Dorina will be sadly missed by six daughters, Julienne Arsenault (late Butch) of Minto, Minnie Bourque of Toronto, Rita Finlayson (Jimmy) of Riverview, Eva Cormier (Raymond) of Moncton, Thérèse Quimper (Daniel) of Ottawa and Apoline White (late Gary) of Moncton ; five sons, Auguste Thebeau of St-Antoine, Raymond Thebeau (Baverly) of Chipman, Léon Thebeau (Brenda) of Memramcook, Euclide Thebeau (Linda) of St-Paul and Vincent Thebeau (Tony) of San Juan, Puerto Rico; three sisters, Caroline Daigle, Germaine Daigle and Yvonne Gallant all three of Moncton; six stepchildren, Annette Aucoin (Fraser) of Collingwood, ON, Maurice Goguen (Wanda) of Minto, Raymond Goguen (Mary-Ann), Linda Bostick (Matthew) both of Minto, Jane-Ann Lathan (Vaughan) of ON and Dale Goguen (Lana) of Quispamsis; three brothers, Jacques Daigle of St-John, Alcime Daigle and Gérald Daigle (Maryse) both of Moncton, her sister-in-law, Germaine Daigle; she will also be dearly missed by her nineteen grandchildren, her thirty great-grandchildren and by two great-great-grandchildren; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Dorina is now resting besides her first husband who is also the father of her children, Eddie Thebeau, with her second husband, Léo Goguen, with her little baby girl, Minnie; with her two sisters, Thérèse and Jeanne; as well Jeanne’s husband, Dollar Bordage; with her brother, Joseph; with her sister-in-law, Anise; and two stepchildren, Trudy and Terry.

In respect of Dorina’s wishes, there will be no visitation. The Funeral service will be held for the family and personally invited close friends on Friday, March 18th, 2022 from Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix RC Church of Moncton at 4pm. Note that wearing your mask is strongly suggested and some will be provided at the entrance of the Church.  

A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciate by the family.

  23. Je pensais ce matin comment mame et matante Dorina aimaient aller marcher quand on vivait tous à Acadieville. Elles aimaient aussi beaucoup admiré leurs jardins et fleurs.

  26. Mes sympathies à la famille Thébeau et Daigle. Dorina était une bonne amie à ma mère, Elva Richard. Elles pouvaient ricaner pour des heures de temps quand elles se rencontraient. Mes pensées et prières sont avec vous autres.

  27. J’étais content d’avoir vu Dorina la semaine dernière. Elle est maintenant parti vers la maison du Père. Mes condoléances aux membres de la famille. J’ai beaucoup apprécié Dorina comme ménagère à Acadieville et on a toujours gardé un contact. Mes prières sont avec vous.
