Moncton – Peacefully on May 10, 2022, at the age of 85 years, Mom was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Paul. Left behind to mourn her passing is her daughter Donna (Manitoba), her sister Huberte, her brother Alphonse, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents Helda and Jacques, fourteen brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Mom was born in Bouctouche, NB. She attended school until grade 8, then returned for one more year to “help the teacher with the younger children”. She later married the love of her life and settled in Dieppe. She cherished many memories from working at Hertz in Moncton before choosing to be a stay-at-home mom. Mom was blessed to receive support from family and friends after Dad’s passing, enabling her to continue living in her home. Mom loved to laugh and enjoyed her talks with loved ones over the phone and especially in person.
Family wish to thank the wonderful staff at Pavillon Richard (Faubourg du Mascaret) for their care over the past four years. Family also wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to family friends Gary and Laura for their loving support and kindness.
No visitation will be held prior to the service, funeral service will be held from Passage-Chartersville Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Friday, October 28th, 2022 at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB.
