Shediac Bridge, NB – Dorine Fougère, 77, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Haute-Aboujagane on April 3, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Amédé and Yvonne (LeBlanc) Gautreau.
Dorine loved people and had many friends. She enjoyed bingo and yard sales.
Dorine will be sadly missed by her husband, Roger; her son, Danny (Yvette) of Moncton; her daughter, Angela Poirier (Charles) of Cocagne Cape; her six brothers, Donald (Florence) of St-Paul, Dolor (Albertine) of Haute-Aboujagane, Henri (Gisèle) of Memramcook, Omer (Gisèle) of Grand-Barachois, Aquilla (Carol) of Haute-Aboujagane and Jean (Candy) of Montreal; her sister, Anita Doiron (late Claude) of Shediac; her four grandchildren, Michel, Stéphanie, Adam and Lisa; her six great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Dorine was predeceased by one son, Bernard (Bernie) – May 2013; one sister, Alice; and two brothers, Ulysse and Emery.
Visitation will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, August 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Passage Chapel at 8:30 pm.
