Cocagne, NB. – Dorine Melanson, 57, of Cocagne passed away peacefully on June 1st , 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont hospital in Moncton.

Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Pierre Legere and the late Doris Legere.

Dorine will be greatly missed by her loving husband Gerry, her son Remi (Melissa) and her daughter Nadine (Remi) both of Cocagne; her two grandchildren: Jesse and Jenny ; four brothers: Maurice (Shelley) of Calgary, Guy (Denise) of Cocagne, Rhéal of Moncton, Jean-Pierre (Joline) of Grand-Barachois ; four sisters: Odette (Odilon) of Saint-Paul, Eliza of Cocagne, Huberte (Charles) of Grande-Digue, Bernice (Roger) of Grand-Barachois; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Edgar.

Visitation will be held at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Sunday, June 5th, 2022 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, June 6th, 2022 at Saint-Pierre de Cocagne RC church
 (2000 Route 535) at 11:00am.

Donations in honour of Dorine can be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick.
