In Loving Memory Of
Doris Collette
1944 ~ 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doris Collette, 82, on Monday, September 28^th, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and the late Emma Gould (Nowlan).

Doris will be sadly missed by her daughters: Jacqueline Collette (Hervé Gautreau) of Dieppe and Monique Légère of Saint John; her grandchildren: Rebecca Duguay (Doug) and Shayne Légère; her great grandchildren: Abby and Oaklyn; her sister-in-law, Therese Gould; as well as her nieces and nephews: Michel Collette, Chantal Collette, Raymond Gould, and Daniel Gould.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Gould.

Doris loved bowling and enjoyed spending time doing Sudoku. She had a special love for music, especially old country. She looked forward to her daily trips to the mall, where she would enjoy her coffee. Faith and family were very important to Doris, and she would never miss Saturday Mass or a family gathering. She cherished these simple moments, and the time spent with the people she loved.

In respect to the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A graveside service will take place at Our-Lady-of-Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe on Friday, October 9^th, 2026, at 11:00am.
