Moncton – Doris Gauvin, 93, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, November 11, 2012.
Born in Cocagne, NB on April 17, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Martial and Elisa (Cormier) Goguen.
She was a member of the Club d’âge d’or of Notre-Dame-de Grace, she loved to play card and was the last survivor of her immediate family.
She is survived by her friend and sister-in-law, (Alma Frenette) and other in-laws as well as nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Amédée J. Gauvin; her three brothers, Nazaire, Aurère and Aquila; two sisters, Cécile and Léa.
In respect to Doris wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce RC Church, 854 Mountain Rd, Moncton on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 11 am.
