Riverview, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Maurice Hervé Cormier, 53, on Thursday, November 19th, at his residence with his family by his side.
Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, USA, he was the youngest son of Hervé and the late Cécilia Cormier.
Besides his father, Maurice will be deeply missed by his siblings, Gabrielle Cormier (Bill Carroll) of Sackville, N.B., Jean Cormier (Stephanie) of Riverview, Lise Derzaph of Victoria, BC; his nieces, Kate and Madison Derzaph; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dr. Maurice Cormier, passed away late last week after a courageous battle with cancer.
Maurice lived a full and passionate life with infinite curiosity in all that he pursued, both in his career and personal interests. He was an avid outdoorsman and nature lover. His greatest joy in life was found when he spent time with animals, in particular horses. He was an accomplished horseman for as long as he was a caregiver. Dr. Maurice opened his private practice as a young chiropractor in 1994. His infinite curiosity in the human body and passion to heal resulted in pursuing all that chiropractic care could offer. His open, caring heart, and healing hands have touched many lives in his twenty-six-year career. Dr. Cormier was a long-standing NBCA member and chiropractor in the Moncton area and will be dearly missed by his patients, the chiropractic community, and the equestrian community.
