In Loving Memory Of
Dr. Maurice V. R. Thorburn

Born in Grande-Anse, NB, he was the son of the late Albert Wallace and the late Edwidge Thorburn (nee Pinette). He was a 4th degree assembly # 2793 – Mgr. Camille-André LeBlanc, founding member of many councils of the Knights of Columbus within the province of NB, including Grande-Digue, a member of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. He was also known as Maurice Victor.

Maurice will be missed by his loving wife, Marcella Marie Thorburn (nee LeBlanc) of Grande-Digue; by his four children, Michael V. Thorburn of Grande-Digue, Suzanne Shutiak (Barry Shutiak) of Hinton, AB, Lisa P. Thorburn (Alexandre Kassatly) of Sainte-Foy, QC and Kenneth Scott Thorburn of Red Deer, AB; by his nine grandchildren, Anne-Marie, Isabelle, Brandon, Rebecca, Kimberly, Alexandra, Curtis, Christina, Connor; also by several nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, March 16th, 2018 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 from 9:00am to 10:30am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at La Visitation RC Church, Grande-Digue, NB, on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at 11:00am.

Donations to the "Pépére Boite à Lunch" of Grande-Digue or the Knights of Columbus would be appreciated by the family.
