Edgar Goguen, 81 of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday September 9th, 2010. He was married to Rose (LeBlanc) Goguen. Born in Cocagne on April 15th, 1929, he was the son of the late Thomas and the late Emilie (Williams) Goguen.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Rose, his four children, Rhéal (Lorraine) of Bouctouche, Simonne Goguen (Paul LeBlanc), Léo-Paul (Juliette), and Ronnie (Nicole) all of Saint-Antoine, five grandchildren, Marcel, Amanda, Samuel, Cloé, Alex. He also leaves to mourn three sisters, Sara Goguen, Ernestine LeBlanc, Elise LeBlanc (Edgar), and two brothers, Alphège (Florence), Dismas (Raymonde) all of Cocagne.
He was predeceased by four sisters, Régina, Rosée, Anna, Delphine, and three brothers, Tanis, Raymond and Tilmon.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Tuesday September 14th, 2010 from 1 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine Church on Tuesday September 14th at 4:00 pm. Internment will be in the parish cemetery.
In Edgar’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation.
