Edgar Mazerolle, 84, of Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday, December 21st, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Edouard “Eddy” and the late Marie (née: Caissie) Mazerolle.
Mr. Mazerolle was a WWII veteran having served with the army, had retired from Canada Post with 33 years of service, was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and a parishioner of Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church.
Mr. Mazerolle is survived by one son, Paul (Joanne) of Dieppe; three grandchildren: Sylvie, Mélanie and Denis as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Corinne in 2004 and also by one brother, Henri.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Friday, December 23nd, 2005 from 2 pm until time of service.
Funeral service will be celebrated at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 23rd, 2005 at 4 pm. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
