Bouctouche, NB – It’s with much sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother, Edith LeBlanc, who left us on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Foyer Pauline in Bouctouche.
Born in Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Cecime and the late Alice Collette (LeBlanc).
Edith will be sadly missed by her two children: David J. LeBlanc of Tyngsboro, MA and Michelle LeBlanc of Marstons Mills, MA; her sister: Bernice Duplessie of Bouctouche; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband in December 2024: Ernest LeBlanc; her brothers: Oscar, Simon, Alderic, Guy, Alban and Elzear; her sisters: Emma, Huberte and Stella.
Edith lived a life of full grace, kindness and dedication to her loved ones.
Born on December 16, 1934, Edith was known for her unwavering spirit, her love for animals and nature. She loved gardening, cooking, quilting and volunteering at her church, her strawberry and butterscotch pie were enjoyed by many parishioners.
There will be no visits. A funeral service will be held at Passage-Maillet (29 rue de l’Église Street, Bouctouche) on Friday, June 20th , 2025, at 11:00am.Burial will take place at Saint-Paul Cemetery in Saint-Paul where she will rest in peace with her husband.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Moncton PAW (formerly SPCA).

Quand nous pensons à toi, nous pensons à la gentillesse que toi et Ernest nous ont démontrée.
Il y a presque 25 ans que nous sommes arrivés comme voisins. C’est graçe à vous que nous pouvons encore aujourd’hui continuer à bénéficier de notre maison, des environs de St Paul et aussi de l’amitie de nos voisins actuels. Vous nous avez traité de famille dès nos premiers jours dans la maison.
Thanks for everything you did for us, and for our families and friends who visited. Thanks for making it special. We will always remember your kindness.
