Moncton, NB (formerly of Saint-Anselme) – Edith McDonald, 94, passed away peacefully at Villa du Repos in Moncton, on Friday, September 8, 2023.
Born in Saint-Anselme, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Arzélie (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Edith will be sadly missed by her children: Pastor Normand McDonald (late Terry) of Fredericton and Bernice Vinacco of Moncton; her sister: Aurore Gagnon (late Alcide) of Moncton; her sisters-in-law: Jeannine LeBlanc of Shediac and Loretta LeBlanc of Dieppe; her grandchildren: Chris, Shelly (Terry), Tammy (Roland), Tracy (Travis), Kevin (Jill) and Jason (Emmanuelle); her great grandchildren: Emily, Liam, Jeremy, Jackson, Hayden, Jaxon, Maxime, Dominic, Kate and Zoe; also survived by her special niece, Dianne Milliard; also by several other nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter: Jeannine Goguen; six brothers: Arsène, Zoël, Edouard, Edgar, Henri and Antoine; her two sisters: Yvonne and Andréa.
Visitation will be held at Passage, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB, (506) 855-1145, on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 12pm until time of celebration of life at 2pm at the chapel.
In her memory, a donation can be made to Villa du Repos Inc.
