It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edith LeBlanc, 79, of St. Anselme on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 after a lenghty illness. Born on July 15, 1926, she was the last of 8 children born to the late Germain Savoie and the late Rosa Lanteigne. She was a member of la paroisse de St. Anselme. She was a devoted mother, mother in law, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her family was very important to her and she was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter: Lissa (Paul) Gaudet; her sons: Terry (Dorice), Ron (Brigitte) and Denis (Rolande) all of Dieppe Her special grandchildren: David (Jennifer) of Calgary, Joselle (André) of Ottawa, Nathalie, Jérémie, Monika and Sébastien all of Dieppe. A special niece Sylvia; two sisters-in-law: Corinne Savoie and Eva Christie; three brothers-in-law: René, Armand and Joseph LeBlanc; Also by many special nieces and nephews and very good friends.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Jacques in 1981; four sisters: Eva, Lorraine, Florine and Démerise and three brothers: Arthur, Edmond and Oxiard.
Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault St., Dieppe (857-1901) on Friday, March 17th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday, March 18th, 2006 at 11 am. Interment in St. Anselme parish cemetery.
Donations to Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation or ALS Association would be appreciated by the family.
