Notre-Dame, NB – Edmond J. LeBlanc, 84, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L-.Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, September 19, 2016, after a brief illness.
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Jacques (Jim) and Marie (Bastarache) LeBlanc.
Edmond will be sadly missed by his wife, Marie; his daughter, Linda LeBlanc (Victor Melanson) of Notre-Dame; his brother, Paul LeBlanc (late Irène) of Notre-Dame; his sister, Anita Williams (late Laurie) of Moncton; his granddaughter, Chantal (Martin); his two great grandchildren, Samuel and Gabrielle; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by six brothers, Néri, Léo, Alyre, Edgar, Willie and Léandre.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur RC Church in Notre-Dame on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11 am. A reception will follow.
