Edna Cormier, 90, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Wednesday January 31, 2018. She was married to the late Siffroid Cormier. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and the late Elizabeth (Cormier) Caissie.
She will be sadly missed by her son Gerald of Bouctouche, her granddaughter, Géraldine LeBlanc (André) of Bouctouche and two great grandchildren; Dania and Josée. She also leaves to mourn her sister, Dorilla Mills (Roger) of Bouctouche, her three brothers; Jean-Paul, Hervé both of Bouctouche and Daniel (Bernadette) of Moncton as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one daughter Diane, two sisters; Marie-Anne and Marguerite as well as three brothers; Raymond, Joseph «Rob» and Edouard.
As per the family’s request, there will be no visitations at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Edna’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT Foundation.
