Born in Cap-Pelé, NB on February 26, 1935, he was the son of the late Edvard and Edith (LeBlanc) Landry.
Edvard will be sadly missed by his wife, Gloria Landry of Shediac; one daughter, Denise Coates (John) of Riverview; two sons, Jacques of Shediac, Roland of Dartmouth, NS; three brothers, Louis (Rita), Emery (Lorraine) both of Shediac and Charles-Yvon (Lisa) of Cap-Pelé; four sisters, Marie Robichaud (Fernand), Archangella Bourque (Philippe), Emerise Leger (Henri) all of Shediac and Angele Mouland (Bill) of Moncton; six grandchildren, Monika, Sophie and André Landry, Janelle, Brandon and Markus Coates; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by eight brothers, Aurèle, Léonel, Napoléon, Ferdinand, Joseph, Arsène, Dismase, infant brother, Alfred; one sister, Céleste.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, April 4th, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Friday, April 5th, 2013 from 11:30 to 1:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the St-Joseph RC Church in Shediac on Friday, April 5th, 2013 at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow at the «Centre Pastoral».
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pro Tem Health Services Inc. for the wonderful care that Edvard received.
