Dieppe, NB – Elizabeth Collette-Leger, 75, passed away suddenly at her residence on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023.

Born in Rexton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jerome Collette and the late Merelda (Robichaud) Collette.

Elizabeth worked at Mother’s Own bakery, Texico, Pharmacie Populaire in Richibucto, as well as the Ultramar gas station on Paul Street in Dieppe. Her hobbies included crocheting, going for drives with the car, as well as walking with the dogs.

Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 54 years, Delphin Leger; her sister, Therese (Joe) of Ottawa; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her two brothers: Normand and Robert.

Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023, from 12:30 noon to 2:30 pm only. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse RC Church, Dieppe, NB, on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023, at 3 pm.

In Elizabeth’s memory, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

  1. So very sad to hear this news. We’ve been their close neighbours for 30 years and her sudden passing is a tremendous shock. We are deeply saddened and want to express our sincerest condolences and sympathy to Delphin and all the family. RIP Elizabeth.

  8. We are so sorry to hear of Cousin Elizabeth’s passing. We remember spending a wonderful time with her and Del when we (Ann, Elaine and Cindy) visited Canada. We spent the day together. Del drove us all to PEI. We have so many fond memories.

  11. So sorry for your loss Del. It was such a shock to hear of Elizabeth’s passing. She always had a smile whenever I saw her , always had a story to tell and asked about mine and Philips well being. I will miss seeing you together at the Sports Rock for breakfast.
