1935 – 2021
Moncton, NB – Elizabeth Cormier, 86, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre of Moncton, NB on Sunday, November 14th, 2021.
Born in Upper Sackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Cormier, and the late Della Cormier born Léger.
Elizabeth will be remembered for her contagious smile to all she encountered! And her telling them ¨ I am a triplet you know! ¨she loved music, party’s, loved all four-legged friends, who will be missed by Sully and Joey. Elizabeth was a generous person, loved God and was young at heart!
Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her four sons, Bobby Bourque (Lise), David Bourque (Wanda), Paul Bourque (Heidi) all three of Moncton and Richard Bourque of Sackville; four daughters, Theresa Caissie (Larry) of Moncton, Brenda Belliveau (Oscar) of Memramcook, Bonnie Arsenault (Gilles) of Moncton and Rachel Bourque (Eddie) of PEI; two brothers, Johnny Cormier (Elo?se) (triplet to Elizabeth and late Acquila) of Saskatoon, Gerry Cormier (Arvella) of Amherst, NS; one sister, Yvonne Stewart of Amherst, NS; nineteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchildren; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her brothers, Albert, Alphonse, Acquila (triplet to Elizabeth and Johnny) but also predeceased by her twin brother and sister, Billy and Winnie, her sister, Anita; as well as her daughter-in-law, Nancy.
The family would like to thank from the bottom of their heart the staff of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre especially in the last few weeks for all the good care and support provided to Elizabeth and to her family.
Because of the actual restrictions related to the Pandemic, but also respecting Elizabeth’s wishes, a Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
