In Loving Memory Of
Elizabeth Florence Crawford
1941 ~ 2024

Elizabeth Florence Crawford

Elizabeth (Liz) Florence Crawford, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died on May 11, 2024.  Her last moments were spent peacefully, surrounded by family and close friends, at the Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton, NB.  Liz was 82.

Liz was known for her quick wit, lavish generosity, and warm hospitality, as well as her undying love and devotion to her family.  She put her heart and soul into everything she did, from her early employment in banking to her work on the family farm and market garden.  Liz touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her family asks that you remember her for the laughter and happiness she brought to others.

Liz is survived by Al, her devoted husband of 61 years, and her three sons, Jason, Stacey, and Shawn.  She was also grandmother to Kiana, Damon, Cole, Desmond and Logan, who she loved dearly.  Liz will be remembered as a caring sister and sister-in-law and a steadfast friend, as well as “Aunt Siz” to many.

A family graveside service will be held at St. Martin’s in the Woods Anglican Church (https://www.anglicanparishofshediac.com/) at 1:00 pm. on July 15, 2024.  Please come prepared for the weather.  A reception will be held in the church hall after the service.

  13. Growing up as a neighbour and friend of the Crawford family, I spent a lot of time at the Mile Hill farm. I will always remember Liz as someone who was like another mom to me. She was always kind, generous and thoughtful. Most of all, I will especially remember her for her amazing culinary skills, and the many great meals that I enjoyed while I was there.
