Born in Richibouctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and the late Marguerite Richard (nee Daigle)

Éloïse will be sadly missed by her six sons, Edgar (Dianne), Robert (Magella) all of Grande-Digue, Claude (Murielle), Pierre (Karen) all of Moncton, Adrien (Lucie Maillet) of Cole Harbour, NS., Gilles of Grande-Digue; by her sister, Lorette Smith of Rexton; by her two brothers, Télex (Jeanne) et Henri (Annette Girouard) all of Richibouctou-Village; by her two sisters-in-law, Yvonne Richard and Yvette Richard both of Leominster, Mass., USA; by her twelve grandchildren and her five great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents, Éloïse was predeceased by her husband, Edmond Babineau (2012), by her sister, Lina Maillet; by her four brothers, Aquila, Roger, Louïs and Éloi and by her great- granddaughter, Mia.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 at 11:30 am.
