Moncton, NB – It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Elva Bourgeois, 84, that occurred on Monday, December 15th, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital in Moncton.
Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lionel LeBlanc and the late Henriette (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Donald Bourgeois of Grande-Digue, and Marc Bourgeois of Moncton; her two grandchildren: Lucas and Maxime; her brother, André LeBlanc (Aldéa) of Dieppe; her sister, Delma Santerre (Paul-Émile) of Montreal; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Laurie Bourgeois (July 2025)
Visitation will be held at the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Friday, January 16th, 2026, from 1 to 3 pm, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 3 pm.
If desired, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
