Elva Richard, 74, of Moncton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Maison Albert House, Moncton on Monday June 10, 2024. Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and the late Rita (Lavoie) Richard.
She will be sadly missed by her three children; Micheline Perreault of Shediac, Michel Perreault (Micheline Saulnier) of Moncton, Marc Perreault of Dieppe, her six grandchildren; Michel, Justin, Katelyn, Brittany, Courtney and Sarah as well as her daughter’s dog, Charlie. She also leaves to mourn her two sisters; Thérèse Daigle (Donald) of Rogersville, Anna Vautour (Brent) of Moncton, a special friend; Marielle Gallant as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two sisters; Laudia and Florine as well as four brothers; Ovide, Alcide, Lucien and Elias.
As per Elva’s wishes, there will be no visitations and no funeral service. Burial will take place in the Saint-François-de-Sales RC Cemetery, Rogersville,
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of the F3 department of the Dr Georges-L Dumont UHC and Hospice SENB Albert House for the excellent care given to Elva.
