Emerie Cormier, 89, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully, at the Foyer Saint-Antoine on Tuesday June 23, 2020. Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Patrick and the late Locade (Cormier) Cormier.
He will be sadly missed by his four children; Jeannine Ouellette (Ulysse) of Haut Aboujagane, Linda Drysdale (André) of Lakeville, Roland (Jolyne) of Saint-Antoine and Rhéal (Annette) of Moncton, his eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn two sisters; Eva LeBlanc (Ovila) of Cap-Pelé and Corinne Léger (Noé) of Sudburry, ON as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by seven sisters; Alvina, Rosée, Emilienne, Lucille, Florine, Hélène, Aurélie and three brothers; Edgar, Raymond and Robert.
As per the request of the family there will be a private graveside service at a later date.
Burial will be in the Saint-Antoine parish cemetery.
