Emile Arsenault, 87 of Notre-Dame de Kent has passed away after a lengthy illness at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital in Moncton on Wednesday February 10, 2010. He was married to the late Eva (Goguen) Arsenault. Born in Acadieville on September 12th 1922 he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Bernadette (Gallant) Arsenault.
Emile was a Second World War veteran he served in Holland. He was also a member of the Notre-Dame Golden Age Club.
Emile was a lift truck operator in Toronto for over 25 years.
He leaves to mourn his two sons Raymond (Cathy) of Notre-Dame de Kent, Donald (Monique) of Toronto, two sisters Emelie Frigault (Donald) of St-Stephen, Estelle Quebillon of Timmons Ontario, one brother Léo( Marie) of Fredericton, seven grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters Rita and Irène and one brother Alyre.
Visitation will be held at Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Friday February 12th 2010 from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Church, Notre-Dame de Kent on Friday February 12 th 2010 at 4:00pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
