Emile Collette, 92, of Villa Providence Inc., Shediac, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday November 25, 2019 at the Villa Providence. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Thaddée and the late Béatrice (Cormier) Collette.
He will be sadly missed by his sister Mai Bourque (Ronald) of Shediac as well as fifty-nine nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by four sisters; Elise, Madeleine, Jeanne, Zella and five brothers; Alban, Alyre, Philippe, Lionel and Elias.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Friday November 29, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Church on Friday November 29, 2019 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Emile’s memory, donations may be made to the NB Alzheimer’s Society.
