Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB – Emile Albert, 93, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Mimi loved music, the Blue Jays and going to the camp especially during maple sugar season.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Arthur and the late Elizabeth Albert (Bastarache).
Emile will be sadly missed by his siblings: Léo (Jeannette) of Sainte-Marie, Odila Newcomb (Frank) of Grande-Digue, Cécile Goguen (late Antoine) of Shediac and Eric (Shirley) of Sainte-Marie; his sisters-in-law: Zita of Sainte-Marie, Joanne of ON and Alma (Clarence) of Moncton; also by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife in 2021: Florine “Ayou” Albert (Richard); his siblings: Corinne, Joe (late Léa), Zoel, Félix, Louis-George and Henri.
Visitation will be held at Passage, 3754 route 134 in Shediac Bridge NB (506) 532.1050 on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm. Please note that there will be no visitation on Thursday morning. Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Jean-Baptiste RC Church in Bouctouche on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Lunch Box of Mont Carmel School in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
