Cocagne – Emilia Goguen, 92, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, January 16, 2012, after a short illness.
Born in Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Philias and Marie-Jeanne (Kelly) Robichaud.
Emilia will be sadly missed by her five sons; Ronald (Irene) of Cocagne, Maurice (late Yvette) of Cormierville, Erice and Arice both of Cocagne, Régis Ricki (Julie) of Alberta; her five daughters, Florida Mazerolle (late Jean-Paul) of Montreal, QC, Stella Allain (Livail) of Bouctouche, Aline Thébeau (Robert) of St-Antoine, Diane Surette of Cocagne and Jeanne Allain (Carole) of Cocagne; her sixteen grandchildren; her twenty-six great grandchildren; also by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her late husband, Gérard (1986); six sons, Régis, Daniel, Réginald, Aldéi, Francis and Emerie; seven brothers, Walter, William, Daniel, Alfred, Alphonse, Jean Baptiste and Nazaire; seven sisters, Marie, Eva, Ida, Brigitte, Caroline, Carrie and Karen; and four grand-children.
Visitations will be at Passage, in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, January 19th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, January 20th from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service to be held at the St-Pierre de Cocagne RC Church on Friday, January 20th at 7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
