Emilia Roy

Shediac, NB – Emilia Roy, 79, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, January 18, 2020.

Born in Cocagne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clovis and the late Aurelda LeBlanc (born Goguen).

Emilia will be sadly missed by her four children, Gisèle Roy of Moncton, Fernand Roy (Joanne Allain) of St-Grégoire, Maurice Roy (Annette) of St-Antoine and Tammy LeBlanc (Maxime) of Memramcook; her four sisters and brother, Janita Gallant (Late Fred) of Notre-Dame, Alicia LeBlanc (Henrie) of Moncton, Ola LeBlanc (Claira), Rosella Gauvin (Normand) both of St-Antoine and Jeanne Roy (Vincent) of Notre-Dame; her ten grandchildren; her eleven great-grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Roy; her brother, Clarence; her sister, Emelda (Alyre) and also by her sister, Edmée and her brother, Émile who passed away at a young age.

Visitations will be held in the slumber room at St-Antoine-l’Ermite RC Church in St-Antoine, on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 6 pm until time of funeral service at the church at 7 pm.
