Emily Mary Petitpas passed away peacefully at the Villa Du Repos in Moncton, January 18, 2021, at the age of 96. Born in Saint-Paul, NB, the daughter of the late Camille Gaudet and the late Eugenie (Goguen) Gaudet.
She was a school teacher back in the one room school days, in Kent County. She loved her family and her bingo.
She is survived by her two daughters; Bernice (Jimmy) Allega, and Geneva (late Joe) Landry, daughter-in- law, Janice Petitpas, grandsons; Brian and Mark Landry, Jesse (Robin) and Sean (Ariane) Allega, granddaughters; Tammy Carnahan and Connie (Jason) Rolf, great grandchildren; Nicole (Brad) Frazee, Courtney (John) Good, Hailey, Nathan, Celine, Lincoln, Preston, Isabella, Jaden, Summer, Kaitlyn, Chloe and Devin, sisters; Cecile DeVarennes, Lorette McDonald, Rita Kervin, Florence (Donald) Gautreau and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Gerald, her son Jerry, brothers; Edouard, Herve, Alfred, Edmond and Normand, sisters; Alexina, Lina, Marie, Anna and son-in-law, Joseph Landry.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, a private visitation and funeral service will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche at a later date. Interment will be in the Saint-Paul cemetery in the spring.
