Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Emery and the late Corinne Savoie (nee LeBlanc).

Emily will be dearly missed by her children, Joanne Savoie and Joey Savoie; by her two grandchildren, "her Sunshine" Quinton Savoie, and "her Sweet Livy" Olivia Savoie. She will also be missed by her brothers, Marcel Savoie, (Marie-Anne) and Roger Savoie, (Rita); by her sisters, Jeannette Dupuis (Paul), Cécile Savoie and Theresa Belliveau (Aldéo "Bill"); also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her best friend Ronnie Savoie.

Emily was predeceased by her parents and by her sister Maureen Savoie.

Emily had a great love for the outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends. She played a vital part each year, in partnership with the annual "Day of Caring" with planting, maintaining, and harvesting the garden at Myles Court and always made sure that everyone received something from the garden. Anytime there was an event or dinner in the apartment building, you can be assured that she gave her time to serving others and most often put others before herself. Emily could always be seen with a beautiful smile on her face, and she will be loving remembered forever by all who knew her.

Visitation will held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton, (corner West Lane), on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 from 9:30am till the time of funeral. Funeral service will held at Passage Funeral Chapel, Moncton, on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 at 11:00am.

Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) would be appreciated by the family.
