Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late François and late Laura Albert (nee Bastarache).

Éric will be sadly missed by his wife, Louise Albert of Bouctouche; his son, Maurice Albert (Brenda) of Edmonton, AB; his two daughters, Annette Pineau (Jimmy) of Moncton and Yvette Richard (Paul) of St-Norbert; his sister, Claira Goguen of St-Antoine; his six grandchildren, Stéphane, Melanie, Marc, Michel, Kelsey and Jérémie; his two great grandchildren, Connor and Zoé; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, André, Freddy and Fabien Albert and by one sister, Marie-Collette Albert.

Visitations will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel slumber room in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, February, 26, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel RC Church at 7:00pm.

Donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society, the Knight of Columbus Council #7948 or masses can be offered to the Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel Parish.

The family would like to thank from the bottom of their heart the personnel of the Stella-Maris-de-Kent hospital for all the good care provided. A special thank you for all the good services provided by the Passage Funeral Home.
