Montreal, QC – Ernest (Edgar) Caissie, 88, passed away peacefully at “Centre d’hébergement Jeanne-Le Ber” in Montreal, on Monday, October 10, 2016.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, but was living in Montreal since he was 16 years old, he was the son of the late Hervé and Anna (Arsenault) Caissie.
Edgar will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Lina Doucette (late Édouard) of Salem, Mass, Paul (Stella) of Cocagne, Alvin (late Emerise) of Grande-Digue, Georgette Cormier (Josephat) of St-Thomas, Bernard (Rose-Marie) of Shediac; also by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving friend, Georgianne Lefrançois (2008), his brothers and sister, Henri, Géralda, Armand, René, Valérie and Louis.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, October 28th, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 6:40 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, on Friday, October 28th, 2016 at 7:00pm.
