In Loving Memory Of
Estelle Bourque
1931 - 2022

Grande-Digue – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Estelle Bourque (Léger) on October 24, 2022. Born on January 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Christophe and Eugénie (Gauvin) Léger. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived and will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 66 years, Ola; her daughters, Monique (Gary Ryan) of Grande-Digue, Lise (Marc Surette) of Moncton and Brigitte (Jason Luther) of Indiana; her grand-children, Natalie (Steve Morrison), Alexi (Tia Silver), Venessa (Fabian McCloskey), Sophie (Eric Penney), Christine (Marcel Bourgeois), Amélie (Justin Sears), Madeleine and Nicholas; as well as her great grand-children, Hailey, Claire, Zoë and Samuel.

She was predeceased by her six sisters, Armande, Sister Louise, Florence, Georgette, Marie and Cécile; and two brothers, Iroi and Gérald.

She was happiest when surrounded by her family. Her grand-children and great grandchildren, whom she loved and touched deeply, brought her much joy and she would often say to them “I love you a bushel and a peck”.

There will be no visitations.  The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 31st, 2022 at the Saint-Anselme RC Church, in Dieppe, at 11:00am.  Face mask is greatly appreciated at the church.
