Moncton, NB — It is with much sadness that the family of Eugene (Gene) Ralph, announces his passing on June 9th, 2020. Born in Burnside, NL, he was the son of the late Donald & Sarah Jane Ralph (born Blake).
Gene was a quiet hardworking, dedicated family man. A great Dad who always made sure his kids felt loved. He served in the Military for half of his working life (22 years), and then transitioned to an owner/operator for East Coast Movers. Gene enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, golfing or just sitting on the front porch.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 59 years, Jeannette (born Melanson); his three children, Cindy Pooley (John), David Ralph, Jeff Ralph (Jessica Johnson) ; his granddaughter, Blake Pooley and his step granddaughter, Emma Johnson all of Moncton; his two sisters, Glenda Lane and Pearl Dyke of NL.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Calbert Ralph of Twilingate, NL.
As per Gene’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A family graveside gathering will be held at a later date.
