In Loving Memory Of
Eva Marie Allain
1934 ~ 2022

Dieppe, NB – Eva Marie Allain, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Celina Arsenault (Williams).

If you were looking for Eva, you would find her in a field picking blueberries. Then with her blueberries she would make homemade jam and would also make rhubarb-strawberry jam, but she would never give her recipe away. She loved to get her hands on any renovating projects for herself or her children. Her favorite hobbies were scratching tickets, going to the casino, doing puzzles, playing bingo, bowling, and traveling.

Eva will be sadly missed by her two daughters: Jo-Anne (Omer) Melanson of Moncton and Paula Phillips of Dieppe; her son, Dennis (Claudette) of Moncton; her grandchildren: Selena (Marc), Trevor (Line), Sheldon (Amie), Danny, Robyn (Tyler); her great grandchildren: Katrina, Riley, Annabelle, Tyler, Rex, Madeline, Justus, Joe and Nash; her siblings: Beatrice McFadden, Elizabeth Martin of Pointe-du-Chêne, Mary Cormier of Shediac, Juanita King of Edmonton, Gerry (Shelley) of St. Stephen and Donnie (Dianne) of Shediac; her brother-in-law: Jim O’Connor of Toronto; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband: Joseph; her two daughters: Gladys and Gladie; her three sisters: Marie Rossiter (Ronald), Lillian O’Connor and Rita Smith (Wesley).

Visitations will be held at Faith Christian Fellowship Church, 70 King Street, Moncton, NB, (506-856-9881), on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 2pm to 4pm and from 5:30pm until time of Celebration of life at 7:30pm at the church.

Interment at Passage-Chartersville Columbarium where she will rest in peace with her husband.
