Notre-Dame, NB.- Evelyne Marie Dionne, 79, of Notre-Dame, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6th, 2022 at Foyer Saint-Antoine surrounded by her family.
Born in Richibucto-Village, she was the daughter of the late Magloire and the late Lucie (Thibodeau) Maillet.
Evelyne was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her children: Carolyn (Martin) LeBlanc of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent and Larry (Amy) Dionne of Riverview; her two grandchildren whom she adored: Kelsey LeBlanc and Ethan Dionne; two brothers: Georges-Emile (Rita) Maillet of Richibucto-Village and Alvin (Huberte) Maillet of Richibucto; her sister Yvonne Carboneau of Massachusetts; three sisters-in-law: Pauline Maillet of Quebec, Viola Cormier (late Raymond) of Massachusetts, Alfreda Despres (late Bertin) of Shediac; two brothers-in-law: Normand (Madeleine) Dionne of Florida and Alyre Dionne (late Alice) of Rhode Island; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Bernard Dionne; seven brothers: Charles-Edouard (Yvonne), Ronald, Emery, Aquila, Vincent, Leo, Gerard; and three sisters: Bertha, Viola and Lilianne.
A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Foyer Saint-Antoine for their exceptional care.
There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur RC Church (3863 route 115, Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB) on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 at 11:00am.
Donations in Evelyne’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of New-Brunswick or to Foyer Saint-Antoine.
