Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late André and the late Alvina Bourgeois (nee Brun).

Excède stayed home and took care of her family. She loved gardening, sewing, knitting and cooking.

Excède will be sadly missed by her sister, Thérèse Boudreau of Boudreau West; by her six sons; Jean (Cindy) of Moncton, Henri of Grande-Digue, Norbert of Grand-Digue, Roger (Darlene) of Grande-Digue, Gérard (Diane) of Cambridge-Narrows and Jacques of Grande-Digue; by her eight daughters; Louise Newhook (Sterling) of Newfoundland, Alma Murphy of Brampton, ON, Agnes Caissie of Mississauga, ON, Christine Lachapelle (Rhéal) of Mississauga, ON, Jeanne O’Neill (Gordon) of Dieppe, Jacinthe Caissie (Paul Cormier) of Shédiac, Léa Caissie of Grande-Digue and Brigitte Caissie of Notre-Dame; by her son-in-law, Paul Williams of St-André-Leblanc; by her 17 grand-children and by her 17 great grandchildren, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Henri Caissie, by her three brothers, Gérald, David and Albert; by her daughter, Marguerite; by her two sons, Timothé and Raymond.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, July 6th, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Thursday, July 7th, 2016 from 9:00 am to 10:15am. Funeral service will be held at the La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Thursday, July 7th, 2016 at 11 am.

Donations to the parish Cemetery La Visitation in Grande-Digue or to the church fund of La Visitation in Grande-Digue would be appreciated by the family.
