Shediac, NB – Exelda Gaston, 79, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital , on Thursday, February 22, 2018.
Born in Sainte-Rose, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edouard Boudreau and the late Alexandrine (Caissie) Boudreau .
Exelda will be sadly missed by her son, Kenneth Gaston of Calgary, AB; her two daughters, Kathleen Gaston-Milburn (Roger) of Peterborough, ON and Lynn Gaston (Harley Matchett) of Miramichi, NB; her brother, Lévis Boudreau (Nicole) of Oromocto, NB; her five sisters, Mae Boudreau Pedersen (Paul) of Moncton, NB, Freda Thébeau (Late Auguste) of Dieppe, NB and Elmire Grant (Conrad) of Boudreau Ouest, NB, Valentine DesRosiers (Jean-Pierre) of London, ON and Edouardine Boudreau (Delpha) of Miscou, NB; her two grandchildren, Dallas and Peyton; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws as well as the Gastons, her many friends on the Miramichi, throughout New Brunswick and across Canada.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Morrissey (Moe) Edmund Gaston; her two brothers, Amedée and Jean-Louis.
Per Exelda’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at the St-Joseph RC Church in Shediac on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11 am.
