Shediac, NB – Fernand Gallant, 59, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac on Saturday, November 3, 2018.

Born in Grand Barachois, NB, he was the son of the late Omer and the late Murielle Gallant (nee LeBlanc).

Fernand will be sadly missed by his wife of 32 years, Majella Gallant (nee Bernard); his two brothers, Ronald (Rachelle) of Cormierville and Paul (Wanda) of Grand-Barachois; his sister, Janice (Louis) Léger of Cap-Pelé; his brother-in-law, Paul Breau of St-Paul; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Stella Breau (2018) and his godson, Allain Léger (2015).

As per Fernand’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A graveside service will be held at St-Henri de Barachois cemetery at a later date.

Donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
