Florence DuLong, 75, of Irishtown, passed away on Sunday, January 22nd, 2006 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in St.-Louis-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Crispin and the late Delima (née: Maillet) Gallant.
Mrs. DuLong is survived by her husband Armand; four daughters: Marcia DuLong and Gisèle (Alan) Snelgrove, both of Moncton, Claire DuLong (Frederic LeBlanc) of Dieppe and Lise DuLong of Toronto; one son: Jean-Guy (Francine) of Dieppe; three sisters: Alfreda Gallant of Montréal, Lucienne (Vital) Richard and Jeannette (late Yvon) Poirier, both of St.-Louis; four brothers: Joseph (Lucie) Gallant, Edgar (Zelia) Gallant, Louis-Emile (late Léa) Gallant and Theodule (Jeannette) Gallant, all of St.-Louis; four grandchildren: Jeremie, Dani, Christopher and Spencer and also by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one son, Paul in 1990; two sisters: Alma and Ernestine and also by three brothers: Cyprien, Saturnin and Rene.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Tuesday, January 24th, 2006 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday, January 25th, 2006 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint Lawrence O’Toole Parish Cemetery, Irishtown, NB.
