Florine Babineau

Florine Babineau, 81, of Manoir Notre Dame, 110 Murphy Ave, Moncton, and formerly of Robinson St., Moncton, NB, passed away on Friday, January 28th, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, after battling cancer.
Born in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and the late Eugénie (née: Cormier) Babineau.
She is survived by three sisters: Anita Cormier (late Clovis) of Moncton, Léona Richard (Aimé) of Dieppe and Cécile Ward of Miscou Island and; five brothers: Alcide (late Thérèse), Gérard (Hélène) and Hervé (Marie) all three of Moncton, Yvon of Dieppe and Oscar (Annette) of Shediac; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Thérèse and also by three brothers: Léo, Ernest and Aurèle, also a special friend, Nicholas Dimopoulos.
Florine worked as a restaurant manager in the Moncton and Amherst area most of her life until her retirement.
Visitation will be held from the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame, on Monday January 31st, 2011 from 2 to 4 an 5:30 to 6:45pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame Church, Notre-Dame, on Monday January 31st at 7:00 pm with internment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
Donations to Cancer Society or to the Parish would be appreciated by the family.
