Port-Elgin, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francis Cormier, 88, of Westford Nursing Home, Port Elgin and formerly of Cap-Pelé, on Saturday, September 27th, 2025.
Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, he was the son of the late Paturel and the late Claudia (LeBlanc) Cormier.
He is survived by his daughters: Karen Cormier, Marlene Pitz (Brian) and Darleen Cormier (Carlos); by his sons: Kenny Cormier (Lori) and Kevin Cormier, all of Ontario; by his six grandchildren; by one great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dora (Duguay) Cormier and by his sisters: Geraldine and Jeannine.
Respecting his wishes, there will be no visitation and funeral service.
In Francis memory, a donation can be made to the Kidney Foundation.

The lost of a brother in law is the lost of a family member. I’ve known Francis all my life, a good man, a solid, a decent man. He will be missed. I extend my sincere condolences to his kids, Karen, Kenny, Kevin, Marlene and Darlene. May his memory be a blessing.
