Francis “Frank” J. Leger 86, of Dieppe, passed away on Monday, October 31st, 2005 at his residence.
Born in Moncton on April 29th, 1919, he was the son of the late Francis and the late Inez (née: McCrae) Leger.
Mr. Leger had retired as an electrician, he also had a passion for the game of hockey, having played in his younger days.
He is survived by his former wife, Lina (née: Belliveau); and will be sadly missed by three daughters: Rose (Allen) Kay, Theresa and Doreen Matthews; three sons: Ron, Bob (Pauline) and Herby (Lucille); five sisters: Annie Edgett, Marjorie Randall and Roberta Richard, Irene Goodwin and Vivian (Jim) Keating; two brothers: Bill (Ida) and Hector; ten grandchildren: Billy (Cheryl) Leger, Nadine Morrissey, Nicole Leger, Justin Ogilvie, Josh Ogilvie, Curtis Matthews (Vanessa), Corey Ogilvie, Jeff Kay (Nicole), Jenna Kay and Glen Matthews and also by five great grandchildren: Brandon Morrissey, Devon Leger, Benjamin Morrissey, Jake Leger and Neve Matthews as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Leger was predeceased by one brother Herby.
Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, November 4th, 2005 at 10 am. Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
