Frédéric LeBlanc, 57, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in St-Anselme, NB, he was the son of Rebecca (née: Leger) and the late Rodolphe R. LeBlanc.
An accountant by profession, Frédéric was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed gardening, camping, hiking, kayaking, hunting and fishing.
He was imbued with a great love of life and enjoyed the simplicity of things.
Besides his mother, Rebecca; he is survived by his wife, Claire DuLong; his children: Dani and Jérémie of Dieppe; two sisters: Monique (Jean-Guy) Poirier and Nicole (Jean-Pierre) Rioux, both of Dieppe; five brothers: Conrad (Joanne) and Bernard (Bernice), both of Memramcook, Dr. Guy (Marge) of Moncton, Marc (Marisa) and Luc (Francine), both of Shediac; the extended DuLong family as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Frédéric’s life will be held on Saturday, November 25th, 2017 at the Saint-Anselme Rotary Park, on Melanson Rd. in Dieppe. Visitations will be from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm. Homage will be delivered at 8 pm.
Donations can be given at the food bank of your choice, the Tree of Hope or the palliative Care unit at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.

Au Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont, le mardi 21 novembre 2017, à l’âge de 57 ans, est décédé Frédéric LeBlanc. Il demeurait à Dieppe.
Né à St-Anselme, N.-B., il était fils de Rebecca (née Léger) et de feu Rodolphe R. LeBlanc.
Comptable de profession, Frédéric était un enthousiaste de la nature et du plein air, le jardinage, le camping, la randonnée, le kayak, la chasse et la pêche.
Il avait une grande joie de vivre et appréciait la simplicité des choses.
Outre sa mère Rebecca; il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Claire DuLong; ses enfants: Dani et Jérémie de Dieppe; deux soeurs: Monique (Jean-Guy) Poirier et Nicole (Jean-Pierre) Rioux, toutes deux de Dieppe; cinq frères: Conrad (Joanne) et Bernard (Bernice), tous deux de Memramcook, Dr Guy (Marge) de Moncton, Marc (Marisa) et Luc (Francine), tous deux de Shediac; la famille DuLong, ainsi que nombreux neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et amis.
Une célébration de la vie de Frédéric aura lieu le samedi, 25 novembre 2017 au Parc Rotary de St-Anselme situé sur le chemin Melanson à Dieppe. Les visites auront lieu de 14 h à 16 h et 18 h à 20 h. Un hommage à la vie de Frédéric sera rendu à 20 h.
Un don à la banque alimentaire de votre choix, à l’Arbre de l’Espoir ou aux soins palliatifs du Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont serait apprécié.
