Richibucto-Village, N.-B. – Frederick James LeBlanc, 91, of Richibucto-Village, passed away, on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Joggins, N.-S., he was the son of the late Charles and the late Ella (Burke) LeBlanc.
He will be sadly missed by his three sons: Stephen (Norma) of Oromocto, Richard (Roxanne) of Moncton and David (Shelly) of Ottawa; his daughter: Monique Wood of Toronto; his eight grandchildren: Natalie, Victoria, Gillian, Andrew, James, Lorenne, Mathew and Jordan; his brother: Tom (Sarah) LeBlanc of Rothesay; his sister: Ruth (George) Mitchell of Oshawa. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife: Denise Marie Potvin; his brothers: Cecil, John, and Gerald; and by his sisters: Florence and Louise.
Funeral mass will be held at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church (11 Cavendish Road, Moncton, N.-B.) on Monday, November 7th, 2022, at 4pm. Reception will follow. Interment will be held in Elmwood Cemetery in Moncton.
The family would like to thank his two caregivers: Ginette Goguen and Ron Lirette for the exceptional care given to Frederick over the years.

My sympathies to Rick and Fred’s entire family. I have fond memories of Fred from Corrections Canada at Dorchester Pen and at the Regional Office in Moncton. He mentored me and I benefited greatly for his help. Rest in Peace Fred, you’ve earned you rest.
Heaven has gained another ANGEL, Uncle Fred. I have fond memories of what a kind soul he was especially with my mom, Louise. My condolences to all my cousins and their children.
